Im Auftrag des Kantons Zug und von den Zuger Gemeinden werden definierte Fachaufträge erfüllt. - Das Brockenhaus fördert die Wiederverwertung von Gütern und stellt günstige Angebote für die Zuger Bevölkerung bereit. Der Erlös aus dem Betrieb des Brockenhauses soll für soziale Aufgaben verwendet werden. Insbesondere erzielt das Brockenhaus einen wesentlichen Finanzbeitrag für die Frauenzentrale Zug.
