## Purpose

La Fondazione ha lo scopo di assicurare direttamente o indirettamente un'adeguata presa a carico ai sensi della Legge concernente il promovimento, il coordinamento e il finanziamento delle attività a favore delle persone anziane (LAnz) delle persone anziane e delle persone affette da malattie cognitive, in primo luogo di quelle residenti ad Arogno, nei Comuni sostenitori e nei Comuni convenzionati. In caso di presa a carico in via indiretta, ovvero per il tramite di un'altra entità giuridica della quale la Fondazione fa parte, la Fondazione deve coprire il disavanzo relativo alla gestione delle strutture di sua proprietà. Per perseguire i propri scopi, la Fondazione ha in particolare acquistato un immobile ad Arogno, che è stato destinato a casa per anziani ed a sua sede giuridica. La Fondazione può acquistare altri immobili e, in modo stabile o temporaneo, può realizzare nuove strutture, gestire e/o acquisire strutture esistenti sul territorio cantonale aventi lo stesso scopo e finalità d'intenti analoghi ai propri, in modo da svilupparsi ed ampliarsi in funzione delle necessità del territorio di riferimento (Basso Ceresio e Val Mara). La fondazione può stipulare convenzioni con i Comuni che specifichino il diritto e le condizioni d'accoglienza dei propri residenti negli istituti da lei gestiti (Comuni sostenitori e Comuni convenzionati). La Fondazione non persegue scopo di lucro.
