## Purpose

La promozione delle conoscenze, della formazione e della ricerca nel campo dell'architettura, e ha l'obiettivo di favorire la collaborazione fra le scuole universitarie svizzere di architetture al fine di rafforzarle. La Fondazione promuove attività volte a rinforzare la qualità della pratica, della formazione e della ricerca nel campo dell'architettura, coltivando un approccio innovativo. In particolare la Fondazione prevede l'istituzione di un premio di architettura di principio biennale e sostiene l'attività e i progetti promossi nel suo ambito, quali mostre, pubblicazioni, presentazioni eccetera. Al fine di conseguire lo scopo, la Fondazione può cooperare con diverse istituzioni per la formazione, la ricerca e promozione nel campo dell’architettura, come ad esempio le scuole universitarie svizzere di architettura, la Fondazione Teatro dell’Architettura e la Fondazione Archivio del Moderno.
