## Purpose

La Fondazione esclude ogni scopo di lucro e ha finalità di favorire e facilitare nel Cantone Ticino l'attuazione dei compiti educativi, caritativi, sociali e religiosi della Congregazione dei Servi della Carità avente sede in Roma, fondata da San Luigi Guanella e riconosciuta dalla Chiesa Cattolica in data 10 luglio 1928. In particolare, la Fondazione si propone di gestire le proprie strutture nello spirito del Progetto Educativo Guanelliano, a norma delle leggi federali e cantonali, al fine di perseguire la promozione integrale dei ragazzi, dei giovani e degli adulti con disabilità psicofisica o in stato di disagio psichico e sociale, senza distinzione di genere e di religione. La Fondazione è aperta allo scambio di esperienze con Opere guanelliane di altre nazioni e, nel limite delle sue possibilità, offre aiuto e sostegno a istituzioni che in altre nazioni operano nello stesso settore.
