Entreprendre la restauration du bâtiment du Rectorat en conservant ou en lui restituant son aspect historique en conformité aux recherches effectuées et aux instructions des Services Cantonaux et Fédéraux des Monuments Historiques et de la protection des sites; valoriser le bâtiment restauré en y créant un centre culturel et d'information, favorisant les activités du Village du Livre principalement, de donner à celui-ci la priorité quant à l'attribution des locaux, selon la volonté exprimée par les fondateurs, de favoriser ensuite également le Vieux-Village et l'Eglise Romane de St-Pierre-de-Clages. Pour atteindre ces objectifs, la fondation aménagera des locaux pour servir de salles d'accueil, d'exposition temporaire ou permanente au service de l'art et de la culture surtout par le développement et la mise en valeur du livre et de l'imprimé, des arts graphiques, de la peinture. Les caves du Rectorat pourront être aménagées en un lieu convivial permettant également la mise en valeur des produits du pays
