## Purpose

Aide aux artistes valaisans par un apport à la culture du Valais et création d'une collection d'oeuvres d'art, soit, et pour l'essentiel, des toiles dont les apports successifs permettront de constituer un témoignage de l'Art en Valais. Les bénéficiaires de la Fondation seront les artistes domiciliés en Valais, quelles que soient leurs origines ou nationalités, qui y exercent leurs activités de façon régulière. La fondation pourra également étendre son aide à tous les artistes d'origine valaisanne qui ne sont pas domiciliés dans le canton. Dans ce cadre, la fondation pourra notamment octroyer des bourses d'études dans les domaines de la création artistique, de l'histoire de l'art, de l'archéologie ou l'ethnologie, en Valais. Elle pourra également soutenir des actions de sauvetage du patrimoine artistique, historique et ethnologique du Valais
