## Purpose

Die EUSA hat folgende Zwecke: a) Pflege und Ausbau eines regelmässigen Austausches zwischen den nationalen Verbänden; b) Koordination von Wettbewerben, Konferenzen, Massen-Sportereignissen und anderen Aktivitäten auf universitärem und nationalem Niveau; c) Vertretung des Universitätssports im Allgemeinen sowie der Mitgliedverbände im Besonderen gegenüber europäischen Organisationen; d) Ansporn zu und Unterstützung der Förderung von Ethik, Fair Play, Geschlechtergleichstellung und verantwortungsvoller Führung im Sport und in der Ausbildung von Studentinnen und Studenten an Universitäten durch den Sport; e) Ansporn zu und Unterstützung von Massnahmen zum Schutz der Gesundheit von Athletinnen und Athleten; f) Unterbindung von Doping und jeder anderen Art von Manipulation im Sport; g) Verbreitung der Ideale des Universitätssports in Europa in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der International University Sports Federation (FISU) und anderen europäischen Organisationen.
