## Purpose

Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung des Fachbereichs der klinischen Neuroradiologie in allen ihren Aspekten, einschliesslich der diagnostischen, interventionellen und pädiatrischen Neuroradiologie sowie der Neuroradiologie von Kopf& Hals und der Wirbelsäule, das Voranbringen der Forschungs- und Behandlungsmethoden der relevanten Fachbereiche zur Förderung der öffentlichen Gesundheit, die Koordination der Arbeit in allen die Neuroradiologie betreffenden Dokumenten und die Sicherstellung einer adäquaten Verbreitung innerhalb und bei Bedarf ausserhalb Europas sowie die Information der Öffentlichkeit, die Koordination der Beziehungen zwischen Neuroradiologie und allgemeiner Radiologie sowie mit den klinischen Fachbereichen, die sich mit dem Nervensystem befassen, die Förderung der Entwicklung angemessener Neuroradiologie-Lehrmethoden und die Sicherstellung der Aufrechterhaltung von Ausbildungsstandards und (gegebenenfalls) Zertifizierungen im Bereich der Neuroradiologie, die Förderung der Gründung von europäischen Gesellschaften für Neuroradiologie auf nationaler Ebene und die Koordination der Beziehungen zwischen diesen und die Förderung von Beziehungen mit neuroradiologischen Gesellschaften ausserhalb Europas. Der Verein verfolgt weder Erwerbs- noch Selbsthilfezwecke.
