## Purpose

Der nicht gewinnorientierte Verein bezweckt (i) die Förderung der Nitrozellulose-Industrie im weitesten Sinne und (ii) die Förderung von verantwortungsvollem Handeln, insbesondere im Hinblick auf Produktverantwortung, um produktbezogene Risiken für Gesundheit, Sicherheit und Umwelt zu minimieren. Der Verein soll ein Forum bieten zur Erörterung von Fragen, Problemen, Fakten und Themen, die vor oder während der Herstellung, der Lagerung, des Transports, des Einsatzes und der Entsorgung von industrieller Nitrozellulose auftauchen, sowie für die Diskussion sämtlicher anderer Gegenstände, die im Interesse des Vereins liegen. Zur Erreichung dieses Zwecks, kann der Verein Richtlinien erlassen und deren Einhaltung überwachen. Ferner kann der Verein im Rahmen seines Zwecks internationalen Organisationen oder Institutionen beitreten oder Verträge mit diesen abschliessen.
