## Purpose

Zweck der EULAR ist es, die Auswirkungen von rheumatischen und muskuloskelettalen Erkrankungen (RMDs) auf den Einzelnen und die Gesellschaft zu reduzieren und die soziale Stellung und die Lebensqualität von Menschen mit rheumatischen und muskuloskelettalen Erkrankungen in Europa zu verbessern. Zu diesem Zweck stimuliert, fördert und unterstützt die EULAR Ausbildung, Erforschung, Vorbeugung und Behandlung von rheumatischen und muskuloskelettalen Erkrankungen. Dazu zählen auch Erkrankungen des muskuloskelettalen oder des Bewegungsapparates sowie systemische immunvermittelte Erkrankungen.
