## Purpose

Schaffung und Förderung von Lern- und Studienmöglichkeiten, wo Lernen fachübergreifend (interdisziplinär) stattfindet und die Lern- und Arbeitsmethoden von den gestellten Fragen und den Fragenden abhängen, wo Lernen die verschiedenartigen persönlichen und beruflichen Erfahrungen der Lernenden berücksichtigt, wo analytisch-rationales Denken und intuitiv-künstlerisches Verstehen gleichermassen gefördert wird, wo im Zentrum des Lernens wenn immer möglich reale Probleme mit ihren mannigfaltigen Verknüpfungen und Wechselbeziehungen stehen und wo der Suche nach praxisorientierten und zukunftsbezogenen Antworten auf reale Fragen und Probleme eine grosse Bedeutung zukommt; füllt mit dieser Zweckbestimmung Lücken des öffentlichen Bildungsangebotes und ergänzt diese unter Wahrung der qualitativen Anforderungen des öffentlichen Bildungswesens; bietet zur Erfüllung des Zweckes interdisziplinäre Ausbildungsgänge auf Fachhochschul- oder Hochschulniveau an, die allein oder in Zusammenarbeit mit anerkannten Universitäten oder anderen gleichwertigen Bildungsinstitutionen des In- und Auslandes durchgeführt werden.
