## Purpose

Zweck der Stiftung ist die Unterstützung und Förderung wohltätiger, wissenschaftlicher, kirchlicher und künstlerischer Werke und insbesondere die Leistung von Ausbildungsbeiträgen (Stipendien) an junge Leute. Für Ausbildungsbeiträge sind die geeigneten Abkömmlinge von Seline Höhn-Streuli, der Schwester des Stifters, zu bevorzugen. Besonders zu beachten, immerhin aber selbständig zu prüfen sind die Beitragsgesuche der Kantonal-zürcherischen Stiftung für das Alter. Als Destinatäre kommen nur Organisationen und Einwohnerinnen und Einwohner im Kanton Zürich in Betracht. Ständige Unterstützungen sind möglichst abzulehnen. Es soll da geholfen werden, wo es gerade nötig ist. Die Stiftung hat sich einer Unterstützung zu enthalten, wenn eine Rechtspflicht der öffentlichen Hand besteht. Zur Erreichung grosszügiger Zwecke können die Erträgnisse des Stiftungsvermögens auch von mehreren Jahren zusammen genommen werden.
