## Purpose

Der Zweck des Vereins ist es, Unternehmen, Institutionen und Einzelpersonen, insbesondere diejenigen, welche in der Zentralschweiz tätig sind, bei der Wertschöpfung durch die Anwendung von KI-Technologien und durch digitale Transformation zu unterstützen sowie eine mitgliederbasierte Community aufzubauen, um mit einer sich schnell verändernden sozioökonomischen Landschaft Schritt zu halten, die Digitalisierung voranzutreiben und die Region zu einem "Hotspot" zu machen, der KI-fokussierte Unternehmen und Talente anzieht. Die Zentralschweiz wird durch die geographischen Regionen Uri (UR), Schwyz (SZ), Nidwalden (NW), Obwalden (OW), Luzern (LU) und Zug (ZG) definiert. Der Verein ist politisch und konfessionell unabhängig. Digital & AI Community ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein. Der Verein verfolgt keine kommerziellen Zwecke. Seine Organe üben ihre Funktion ehrenamtlich aus.
