Der Stiftungsrat der (Dach-)Stiftung nimmt für diese (Unter-)Stiftungen die Zuständigkeiten des obersten Stiftungsorgans wahr. Die Stiftung (Dachstiftung) wahrt die Eigenständigkeit der Stiftung Kunstmuseum Bern und der Zentrum Paul Klee - Maurice E. and Martha Müller Foundation, insbesondere sorgt sie dafür, dass die öffentlichen Finanzierungen der Stiftung Kunstmuseum Bern und der Zentrum Paul Klee - Maurice E. and Martha Müller Foundation gesondert erfolgen.
