La Caisse a pour but la prévoyance professionnelle en faveur du personnel de I' "HOPITAL DU JURA BERNOIS S.A." contre les conséquences économiques de la vieillesse, de l'invalidité et du décès, en assurant des prestations fixées par voie réglementaire. Sur décision du Conseil de fondation, la Caisse peut étendre son activité au personnel de sociétés financièrement ou économiquement liées à la Fondatrice, pour autant que les droits des collaborateurs de la Fondatrice ne soient pas lésés et que chaque société liée fournisse à la Caisse les moyens financiers nécessaires à l'assurance de son propre personnel. Le cas échéant, une convention d'adhésion sera conclue. Le terme "Employeur" désigne la Fondatrice et les autres sociétés affiliées à la Caisse. La Caisse peut étendre la prévoyance au-delà des prestations légales minimales et verser des allocations aux personnes dans le besoin, comme en cas de maladie, d'accident ou de chômage. La Caisse ne peut en aucun cas verser des prestations ayant le caractère d'une rémunération du travail, telles que gratifications, allocations diverses ou autres compléments de salaire qui, légalement, incombent à l'Employeur. Pour atteindre son but, la Caisse peut conclure des contrats d'assurances ou reprendre à son nom des contrats existants ; elle doit alors être aussi bien preneur d'assurances que bénéficiaire.
