## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die berufliche Vorsorge im Rahmen des BVG für das Personal des Kantons Zürich. Die Stiftung kann Anschlussvereinbarungen abschliessen und dadurch das Personal insbesondere folgender Organisationen aufnehmen: - Gemeinwesen, Institutionen und Unternehmungen, die dem Kanton Zürich nahestehen oder öffentliche Aufgaben des Bundes, eines Kantons oder einer Gemeinde erfüllen; - zürcherische Gemeinden sowie andere öffentlich-rechtliche Körperschaften und gemeinnützige Institutionen sowie diesen nahestehende Institutionen und Unternehmungen. Über den Anschluss entscheidet die Stiftung. Die Anschlussvereinbarungen sind in schriftlicher Form zu schliessen. Der Anschluss eines Arbeitgebers ist der Aufsichtsbehörde zu melden. Die Stiftung sorgt für einen angemessenen Vorsorgeschutz ihrer Versicherten sowie für deren Angehörige und Hinterlassenen gegen die wirtschaftlichen Folgen des Altersrücktritts sowie der Risiken Tod und Invalidität. Die Stiftung kann über die gesetzlichen Mindestleistungen hinaus weiter gehende Vorsorge betreiben, einschliesslich Unterstützungsleistungen in Notlagen, wie Krankheit, Unfall, Invalidität oder Arbeitslosigkeit. Die Altersvorsorge wird im Beitragsprimat geführt. Die Stiftung bietet einen Vorsorgeplan an, der im technischen Rücktrittsalter eine Altersrente von rund 60% des letzten versicherten Lohnes vorsieht, wenn die Versicherten eine vollständige Beitragszeit aufweisen oder sich voll eingekauft haben. Die Stiftung kann weitere Vorsorgepläne anbieten. Der Stiftungsrat erlässt Reglemente über die Leistungen, die Organisation, die Verwaltung und Finanzierung sowie über die Kontrolle der Stiftung. Er legt darin auch das Verhältnis zu den Arbeitgebern, zu den Versicherten und zu den Anspruchsberechtigten fest. Die Reglemente können vom Stiftungsrat unter Wahrung der erworbenen Rechtsansprüche der Versicherten und der Rentenbezügerinnen und -bezüger geändert werden Die Reglemente und ihre Änderungen sind der Aufsichtsbehörde einzureichen. Zur Erreichung ihres Zweckes kann die Stiftung Rückversicherungsverträge mit Versicherungsgesellschaften abschliessen, wobei sie selbst Versicherungsnehmerin und Begünstigte sein muss. Darüber hinaus kann sie alle Massnahmen vorkehren, Geschäfte tätigen und sich an Unternehmen beteiligen sowie solche gründen, welche der Erfüllung des Stiftungszweckes direkt oder indirekt dienen.
