## Purpose

Die Bürgschaftsgenossenschaft Baselland (in der Folge BGB genannt) bezweckt die Förderung des Liegenschafts- und Stockwerkeigentums. Mit ihrer Bürgschaft erleichtert sie natürlichen und juristischen Personen die Sicherstellung von Hypotheken und Baukrediten sowie von grundpfändlich gedeckten Darlehen und Krediten. Dieser Tätigkeitsbereich ist auf das Gebiet der Schweiz, mit Schwerpunkt in der Region Nordwestschweiz begrenzt. Die BGB erbringt auch allgemeine Immobilien-Dienstleistungen wie z.B. Verwaltung, Vermietung und Vermittlung von Liegenschaften; Liegenschaftsschätzungen sowie Beratung in allen Liegenschaftsbelangen. Sie kann auf eigene Rechnung Grundstücke erwerben und veräussern sowie alle Geschäfte eingehen und Verträge abschliessen, die geeignet sind, den Zweck der Genossenschaft zu fördern oder damit im Zusammenhang stehen. Die BGB kann Mitglied einer Vereinigung von Bürgschaftsgenossenschaften, einer Organisation zur Rückversicherung von Bürgschaften und anderen branchenmässigen Interessengemeinschaften sein. Sie kann sich auch an Immobiliengesellschaften beteiligen. Die BGB hat gemeinnützigen Charakter und erstrebt keinen Gewinn.
