## Purpose

Errichtung und Unterhalt einer grösseren allgemeinen Bibliothek im Engadin, welche insbesondere der Bevölkerung des Engadins unentgeltlich zur Verfügung steht. Die Stiftung soll mithelfen, die romanische Sprache zu fördern und zu erhalten. Die Bibliothek soll auch Professoren und Studenten schweizerischer Hochschulen und der Allgemeinheit unentgeltlich offen stehen. Förderung und Erhaltung der romanischen Sprache, insbesondere des Ladin (Putér und vallader: Engadin, Val Müstair, Bravuogn/Bergün) und des Rumantsch Grischun als Schriftsprache aller Rätoromanen; die Stiftung kann auch Beiträge zur Erhaltung und Stärkung der Volksbildung und der -kultur sowie an gemeinnützige Institutionen im Engadin (inkl. Val Müstair) und Bergell und Puschlav gewähren.
