## Purpose

Die Genossenschaft bezweckt, in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe und Mitverantwortung ihren Mitgliedern dauerhaft zeitgemässen, gut unterhaltenen und preisgünstigen Wohnraum zu verschaffen und zu erhalten. Dazu kann sie auch Liegenschaften erwerben oder im selbständigen dauernden Baurecht übernehmen oder erstellen. Wohnraum und Zahl der Benutzerinnen und Benutzer sollen im Rahmen der gegebenen Möglichkeiten in einem angemessenen Verhältnis zueinanderstehen. Einzelheiten regelt der Vorstand im Vermietungsreglement. Die Grundstücke und Liegenschaften sind unverkäuflich. Die Tätigkeit ist nicht gewinnstrebig. Sie ist nach Möglichkeit ökologisch nachhaltig. Die Genossenschaft kann sich an Unternehmungen mit gleichen oder ähnlichen Zielsetzungen beteiligen und die Mitgliedschaft bei Dachorganisationen gemeinnütziger Baugenossenschaften erwerben. Solange die Stadt Zürich an der Genossenschaft beteiligt ist oder diese unterstützt, gelten die von ihr für Baugenossenschaften erlassenen Richtlinien.
