## Purpose

Die Genossenschaft bezweckt in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe und Mitverantwortung ihren Mitgliedern preisgünstigen Raum für Wohnen, Arbeiten und öffentliche Nutzungen zu verschaffen und zu erhalten. Die Liegenschaften der Genossenschaft werden der Spekulation dauerhaft entzogen. Die Tätigkeiten der Genossenschaft sind nicht gewinnstrebig. Die Genossenschaft erstellt, vermietet und verkauft preisgünstigen Wohnraum und Arbeitsflächen in erster Linie an ihre Mitglieder. Sie kann zu diesem Zweck Grundstücke, Liegenschaften und Baurechte erwerben und belasten. Diesen Zweck will Kraftwerk1 in folgender Weise erreichen: a) Die Genossenschaft sorgt für einen sorgfältigen und laufenden Unterhalt und eine periodische Erneuerung der bestehenden Bauten. b) Sie kann Ersatzneubauten errichten, wenn die bestehenden Bauten nicht mehr auf wirtschaftlich vertretbare Art und Weise erneuert werden können. c) Sie verwaltet und vermietet die Wohnungen und Arbeitsflächen auf der Basis der Kostenmiete. d) Sie fördert die gemeinschaftlichen Aktivitäten in den Siedlungen. e) Sie unterstützt ideelle und materielle Bestrebungen, die preiswertes, gesundes und gutes Wohnen zum Ziel haben.
