## Purpose

Der Verein ist ein Verband, der sich für die Interessen seiner Mitglieder auf wirtschaftlicher, politischer und gesellschaftlicher Ebene einsetzt und bei diesem Engagement auch die Vertragspartner, d.h. die offiziellen Markenvertretungen, miteinbezieht. Der Verband bezweckt, die gemeinsamen Interessen seiner Mitglieder wahrzunehmen und insbesondere gegenüber Behörden, Politikern, Verbänden und anderen Organisationen in geeigneter Weise zu vertreten. Er ist bestrebt, eine Vertrauensbasis zu schaffen, auf welcher die im Gesamtinteresse liegenden Branchenprobleme in loyaler und offener Zusammenarbeit einer befriedigenden Lösung entgegengeführt werden können. Im Rahmen dieser Zweckbestimmung wird eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Autogewerbe-Verband der Schweiz (AGVS) und anderen am motorisierten Strassenverkehr interessierten Organisationen angestrebt. Mit im Zentrum dieser Bemühungen steht auch der motorisierte Verkehrsteilnehmer mit der freien Wahl seines Verkehrsmittels.
