## Purpose

L'Associazione si occupa delle tematiche riguardanti gli anziani e sviluppa una propria progettualità sensibile e attenta alla dignità delle persone in tutte le stagioni della vita. Operando prevalentemente grazie all'apporto volontario delle socie e dei soci, sostiene l'aggregazione fra le diverse tipologie di appartenenti alla terza età e la loro integrazione intergenerazionale. Promuove la dignità e i diritti, nonché il benessere fisico e psicologico dell'anziano, stimolando i suoi aderenti, anche in una prospettiva di prevenzione, a restare persone attive e protagoniste, aperte alle relazioni solidali, curiose e sensibili sul piano culturale. Collabora con enti pubblici e privati, in particolare allo scopo di: promuovere condizioni di vita in autonomia; prevenire e combattere l'emarginazione delle persone anziane, favorendone l'abitare in un contesto sociale aperto e solidale; favorire l'integrazione intergenerazionale, attraverso il volontariato attivo delle persone anziane; sviluppare strutture di servizio volte a incentivare incontri formativi, culturali, ricreativi o d'informazione e aggiornamento; sostenere la creazione e la gestione di centri diurni, di istituzioni e di servizi adatti alle esigenze sociali e sanitarie della terza età; mettere a disposizione servizi e ausili a supporto dell'abitare autonomo.
