## Purpose

promuovere e contribuire con ogni mezzo idoneo e senza fini di lucro, allo sviluppo sanitario dei paesi e dei movimenti democratici del Centro America. L'associazione contribuisce attivamente al miglioramento delle condizioni sociali ed educative dei paesi in cui opera. In particolare gli scopi saranno perseguiti attuando direttamente o favorendo iniziative volte a: a) acquistare medicinali e attrezzature mediche; b) promuovere lo studio e la ricerca nonché l'informazione relativa alla situazione sanitaria dei paesi della regione centroamericana; c) formare e mettere a disposizione personale sanitario; d) informare e sensibilizzare l'opinione pubblica sulle questioni socio-economiche e culturali del Centro America; e) promuovere il finanziamento dei padronati; f) promuovere la gestione di strutture d'accoglienza, in particolare per l'infanzia; g) appoggiare la formazione e l'aggiornamento dei collaboratori di AMCA in Svizzera e all'estero.
