## Purpose

L'Association a pour but de: faciliter et promouvoir des projets de recherche communautaire, en collaborant étroitement avec les entreprises privées par le développement permanent de leurs intérêts; promouvoir le transfert de technologies entre les institutions de formation et de recherche et l'industrie, ainsi qu'entre les entreprises elles-mêmes; assurer une fonction d'interface et de consultance technologique au profit des entreprises; faciliter les recherches et développements axés sur la technologie en favorisant l'accès aux laboratoires des institutions de formation et de recherche; contribuer au rayonnement général des écoles et institutions académiques, axées principalement sur les microtechniques et les savoir-faire de la région de l'Arc jurassien; favoriser une gestion efficace des ressources humaines et matérielles en matière d'innovation et de transfert technologique; organiser des conférences, visites et autres activités notamment pour ses membres, en cherchant à collaborer avec d'autres institutions. L'association n'a pas pour but de réaliser de la recherche ni la formation. En cas de demande explicite, elle collaborera avec les institutions spécialisées, en les soutenant. L'association développe et entretient des contacts étroits avec des institutions de formation, de recherche et développement (en particulier avec la HE-Arc, la HES-BE, la HEIG-VD, les universités de Berne et Neuchâtel, les Swiss Innovation Park de l'Arc jurassien, le CTM, l'EPFL et en France voisine les établissements tels que l'ENSMM et l'UTBM), les organes de promotion économique du territoire concerné, les plates-formes représentatives des milieux industriels et économiques, les entreprises ainsi que les autres organismes intéressés.
