## Purpose

"Arosa Tourismus" fördert Arosa als Tourismusort und bezweckt damit die Förderung und Sicherung der wirtschaftlichen Interessen ihrer Mitglieder in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe: In erster Linie soll der Aufenthaltstourismus gefördert werden, ergänzend dazu der Ausflugstourismus. Die Tätigkeit von "Arosa Tourismus" richtet sich aus an den tourismusrelevanten Grundsätzen des Gesetzes über die Erhebung einer Beherbergungsabgabe und einer Tourismusförderungsabgabe in der Gemeinde Arosa (Tourismusgesetz; TG) und der jeweiligen Leistungsvereinbarung zwischen der politischen Gemeinde Arosa und "Arosa Tourismus" sowie an den Interessen von Gästen und Einwohnern. Namentlich wirkt "Arosa Tourismus" auf die Steigerung der touristischen Wertschöpfung in der Gemeinde mit Auslastung der vorhandenen Betten hin; bezweckt "Arosa Tourismus" die Ausweitung des Ferienregionangebotes für Gäste der Gemeinde (Angebote, Infrastruktur, Veranstaltungen, etc.); unterstützt, fördert und koordiniert "Arosa Tourismus" lokale, nationale und internationale Sport-, Kultur- und Eventorganisationen bei der Durchführung von touristisch relevanten Anlässen; wirkt "Arosa Tourismus" auf die Steigerung des Bewusstseins für die Tourismusförderung in Zusammenarbeit mit Arosas Leistungsträgern hin; übt "Arosa Tourismus" die ihr durch das Tourismusgesetz übertragenen Rechte und Pflichten aus; unterhält "Arosa Tourismus" eine ständige Geschäftsstelle mit vollamtlicher Geschäftsleitung; bezweckt "Arosa Tourismus" die Erhöhung der Bekanntheit und Wahrnehmung der Ferienregion Arosa sowie der Markenstärke des Brands Arosa auf allen Kanälen; erstellt "Arosa Tourismus" eine Tourismus-Strategie, welche alle vier Jahre zu überprüfen und mit dem Gemeindevorstand zu besprechen ist, und setzt diese um.
