## Purpose

Alias ist das offizielle Organ der Studierenden der ZHAW und gestützt auf die «Policy - Studentische Mitwirkung ZHAW» ist Alias offiziell für die studentische Mitwirkung an der ZHAW verantwortlich und vertritt die Interessen aller Studierenden der ZHAW. Alias fördert den Kontakt zwischen den Studierenden und den Departementen sowie innerhalb der Gesamthochschule und darüber hinaus. Alias fördert die kulturelle Vielfalt des studentischen Lebens. Zur Erfüllung des Zwecks und Ziels unternimmt Alias insbesondere Folgendes: a) Informiert die Studierenden über die Aktivitäten und andere hochschulrelevante Themen; b) Kann sich Studierenden-Dachorganisationen anschliessen; c) Kann Anlässe von allgemeinem Interesse organisieren; d) Vertritt die Studierenden in Gremien und Kommissionen der ZHAW, im Sinne von Art. 2 Policy - Studentische Mitwirkung, sowie gegenüber Behörden und weiteren Organisationen. Alias verfolgt keine kommerziellen Zwecke und Ziele.
