## Purpose

Der Zweck des Vereins ist: 1. Vertretung von Mitgliedsverbänden und objektive, unabhängige, professionelle Beratung der europäischen Institutionen und lnteressenvertreter in allen Fragen der versicherungsmathematischen Relevanz, zur Verfolgung des öffentlichen Interesses; 2. Verbesserung der Entwicklung und des Standes des versicherungsmathematischen Berufs in Europa, unter anderem durch: a. pädagogische Standards vorschreiben; b. Förderung der Professionalität; c. Förderung der gegenseitigen Anerkennung von Aktuaren unter den Mitgliedsverbänden; und d. die Erleichterung eines konsequenten Ansatzes für versicherungsmathematische Arbeiten im Rahmen der Institutionen der Europäischen Union zur versicherungsmathematischen Regulierung; 3. Möglichkeiten bieten zur Vernetzung und Förderung des Austauschs bewährter Praktiken unter den Aktuaren in ganz Europa, sowohl in traditionellen Arbeitsbereichen als auch in grösseren Bereichen, da die Aktuare ihre Beteiligungsbereiche ausbauen.
