## Purpose

Die Academia Raetica ist ein Verbund und eine Dienstleisterin zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung und Lehre im Kanton Graubünden und seiner Umgebung. Zur Erfüllung ihres Zweckes übt sie Tätigkeiten aus zur: a. Stärkung der Wissenschaften als Beitrag zur gesellschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung; b. Förderung der Information, des Austauschs und der Zusammenarbeit zwischen ihren Mitgliedern und deren Mitarbeitenden; c. Förderung von Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern in ihrer Ausbildung, Arbeit und Entwicklung; d. Sichtbarmachung des Forschungsstandorts Graubünden durch die Information von Öffentlichkeit und Verwaltung über Tätigkeit und Bedeutung der Wissenschaften; e. Unterstützung der Kooperation und Vernetzung der Mitglieder mit der Wirtschaft und der öffentlichen Verwaltung sowie mit universitären Institutionen ausserhalb des Kantons; f. Förderung der Umsetzung der kantonalen Innovations-, Hochschul- und Forschungsstrategien, durch Empfehlungen an den Kanton, Bedarfsabklärungen, Projektvorschläge, Vernetzung und Koordination; g. Ausführung von Aufträgen und Projekten der Mitglieder, öffentlichen Hand und Wirtschaft; h. Vertretung von unter den Mitgliedern abgestimmten Interessen gegenüber der Politik und Öffentlichkeit. Der Verein kann alle Geschäfte tätigen, Kooperationen eingehen, Verträge abschliessen und Institutionen gründen, die der Erreichung seines Zwecks dienen.
