## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt auf ausschliesslich gemeinnütziger Basis insbesondere in der Region Basel die finanzielle Unterstützung von Institutionen mit wohltätigen und gemeinnützigen Zwecken sowie die finanzielle Unterstützung von benachteiligten, bedürftigen oder kranken Einzelpersonen. Es sollen Institutionen unterstützt werden, welche sich für benachteiligte, alte oder kranke Menschen einsetzen, oder welche speziell Projekte zur Förderung von geistig Behinderten, Obdachlosen oder psychisch Kranken realisieren. Ferner sollen sozial tätige Institutionen gefördert werden, welche sich für das Gemeinwohl engagieren, zum Beispiel Institutionen, die unter dem Patronat der «GGG Gesellschaft für das Gute und Gemeinnützige Basel» stehen. Ein Teil der zur Verfügung stehenden Mittel soll auch zu Gunsten der Tierwelt eingesetzt werden; so können Institutionen unterstützt werden wie zum Beispiel der Erlen-Verein, der Zoo Basel oder der Tierschutz beider Basel. Es besteht kein Anspruch auf Leistungen der Stiftung.
