## Purpose

Der Verein bezweckt die Förderung des Ansehens der Universität Zürich (UZH) in der Öffentlichkeit und die Identifikation der Alumnae und Alumni (nachfolgend Alumni) mit der UZH. Zudem unterstützt der Verein mittels Vergabungen Projekte der UZH und fördert den akademischen Nachwuchs. Sodann bezweckt der Verein die Förderung des Alumniwesens der UZH und die Zusammenarbeit zwischen der UZH und ihren Alumni. Die Pflege der Beziehungen der Alumni untereinander soll dazu beitragen, dass die UZH ihre vielfältigen Aufgaben bestmöglich erfüllen kann. UZH Alumni ist nicht gewinnorientiert und verfolgt keinen wirtschaftlichen Zweck.
