## Purpose

Förderung des kulturellen Lebens und insbesondere der Bühnenkunst in der breiten Öffentlichkeit hauptsächlich im Kanton Zürich. Die Institution verfolgt keine kommerziellen Zwecke und erstrebt keinen Gewinn. Dazu kann die Stiftung geeignete Massnahmen ergreifen, um Theaternachwuchs zu fördern, Produktionen zu unterstützen und Infrastruktur anzubieten. So kann die Stiftung den Kammerspielen Seeb bzw. deren Nachfolgeorganisationen und anderen nicht kommerziellen Gruppierungen unentgeltlich oder zu erschwinglichen Bedingungen die Infrastruktur zur Ausübung ihrer Tätigkeit zur Verfügung stellen. Sie berücksichtigt dabei primär Bedürfnisse im Zusammenhang mit Bühnen- und Theaterkunst, fördert in zweiter Linie aber auch andere kulturelle Bemühungen. Die Stiftung kann zur Erfüllung ihrer Aufgabe eigene Mobilien und Immobilien erwerben oder solche von Gemeinden und Drittpersonen treuhänderisch verwalten oder mieten.
