## Purpose

Der Verein ist politisch unabhängig, konfessionell neutral und nicht gewinnorientiert. Im Interesse der Betreiber von Sportanlagen sowie deren Gäste kann sich der Verein bei entsprechenden Themen politisch und öffentlich engagieren. Die OdA igba engagiert sich als Organisation der Arbeitswelt (OdA) "Interessengemeinschaft für die Berufsausbildung von Fachleuten in Sportanlagen" in der Grundbildung und Höheren Berufsbildung und übernimmt Verantwortung für praxisnahe und berufsorientierte Bildungsangebote. Der Verein bezweckt die gesamtschweizerische Koordination und die Durchführung professioneller und qualitativ hochstehender Ausbildungen auf Verbandsebene und mit eidgenössischen Abschlüssen zu den Berufen in der Branche Sportanlagen". Diese Aufgaben können an Partnerorganisationen delegiert werden. Der Verein kann gegen Entschädigung freie Beratungsmandate und administrative Aufgaben für andere Organisationen übernehmen.
