## Purpose

Der Verein bezweckt den Betrieb einer theologischen Ausbildungsstätte. IGW bietet theologische Studiengänge an mit Studienabschlüssen wie Bachelor of Arts (BA), Master of Arts (MA), Master of Theology (MTh) etc.. Zu diesem Zweck gründet es dazu gehörige Studiencenter im In- und Ausland, die in eigener Finanzverantwortung arbeiten. Der Verein verfolgt keinen Erwerbszweck und auch keine Selbsthilfe; er wendet sich an einen offenen Destinärkreis von Studierenden aus unterschiedlichen christlichen Denominationen wie Landeskirchen, Freikirchen, freien Werken oder Gemeinschaften. Der Verein arbeitet uneigennützig und erbringt Opfer gegenüber einem offenen Kreis von Studierenden. Der Verein steht auf dem Boden des Glaubensbekenntnisses der "Schweizerischen Evangelischen Allianz" (SEA) und der "Lausanner Erklärung". Der Verein ist zur Verwirklichung des statutarischen Zweckes berechtigt, sich an Unternehmen zu beteiligen, solche zu gründen sowie Grundstücke und Liegenschaften zu erwerben und zu veräussern.
