## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt: a) weltweit Aufklärung zum Thema "Hören" bzw. "Hörverlust" zu leisten und so zur Prävention von Hörschädigungen und zu einem verbesserten Umgang mit Hörverlust beizutragen. b) durch Technologie und finanzielle Unterstützung Gruppen, öffentliche Einrichtungen und Privatpersonen zu fördern, die sich für die Verbesserung der Lebensqualität von Hörgeschädigten und deren Umfeld sowie die Prävention von Hörschädigungen einzusetzen. Die finanziell unterstützten Institutionen müssen mit den von der Stiftung erhaltenen Mittel im Sinne des Schweizer Steuerrechts gemeinnützig tätig bzw. steuerbefreit sein. c) ausgewählte Personen mit Hörproblemen sowie deren Umfeld zu unterstützen. d) wissenschaftliche Studien und Forschungsprojekte zu gesundem und beeinträchtigtem Hören sowie zum Umgang mit und zur Auswirkung von Hörproblemen zu fördern. e) allgemein im Interesse der weiteren Entwicklung und des Wohls von Menschen mit Hörproblemen tätig zu sein, insbesondere sowie die Integration von Hörbehinderten in die Welt der Hörenden sowie das Verständnis der Gesellschaft über die Bedeutung von gutem Hören zu fördern als auch der Diskriminierung von Hörbehinderten in der Gesellschaft entgegenzutreten. Die Stiftung verfolgt keine kommerziellen Zwecke und erstrebt keinen Gewinn. Die Stiftung kann zur Erreichung ihres Zwecks unternehmerische Fördermodelle gemäss Praxishinweis vom 1. Februar 2024 zu Steuerbefreiung wegen Gemeinnützigkeit (Zürcher Steuerbuch Nr. 61.1) einsetzen.
