## Purpose

Zweck der Stiftung ist die Leitung und Koordination der in verschiedenen Ländern eingetragenen Hagar Institutionen und Operationen, welche sich mit kreativen Initiativen der ganzheitlichen Förderung von ungeschützten Frauen und Kindern in Entwicklungsländern widmen (nachstehend "Internationale Hagar Institutionen" genannt). Sie erarbeitet für die Aktivitäten und Einsätze der internationalen Hagar Institutionen Grundsätze für die strategische Ausrichtung und die Arbeitsweise in den Einsatzgebieten aus. Die Stiftung arbeitet nach christlichen Grundsätzen, unter Respektierung und Wahrung der Kultur jeder Person, für deren Schicksal sie sich einsetzt. Die Stiftung umfasst sowohl Hagar Institutionen, welche sich direkt für die Förderung von ungeschützten Frauen und Kindern einsetzen, wie auch Hagar Institutionen, welche finanzielle und anderweitige Unterstützung für diese Aktivitäten gewähren. Die Stiftung kann im übrigen alle Geschäfte tätigen, welche geeignet sind, die Erreichung des Stiftungszweckes zu fördern oder zu erleichtern. Die Stiftung verfolgt keine kommerziellen Zwecke und erstrebt keinen Gewinn.
