## Purpose

Zweck des Vereins ist es, einen Beitrag zur Bekämpfung der Jugendarbeitslosigkeit in der Schweiz zu leisten. Dazu sollen geeignete Massnahmen entwickelt und gemeinsam durch die Vereinsmitglieder national ausgebreitet werden. Der Verein ist politisch und konfessionell neutral. Er wird als gemeinnützige Institution betrieben und ist nicht gewinnstrebig. Die betreuten und geförderten Jugendlichen sollen durch die Verbesserung ihrer eigenen Kompetenzen bei der Arbeitssuche befähigt werden, nachhaltig ihre wirtschaftliche Eigenständigkeit erreichen zu können. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei die Prävention von Jugendarbeitslosigkeit und die Integration von arbeitslosen Jugendlichen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Wirtschaft. Dabei hat das duale Bildungssystem mit Berufslehren und allgemeinen Diplomen/Zertifikaten einen wichtigen Stellenwert.
