## Purpose

Der Verein bezweckt die Wahrung der Interessen der schweizerischen Land- und Ernährungswirtschaft im kommunikativen Bereich; er fördert die Koordination und Optimierung der Absatzförderungsaktivitäten seiner Mitglieder. Der Verein verfolgt keinen Erwerbszweck; er ist insbesondere weder in der Produktion, noch in der Verarbeitung, noch im Ein- oder Verkauf von Agrarprodukten oder für die Agrarproduktion erforderlichen Hilfswaren tätig; er ist jedoch berechtigt, im Rahmen gemeinsamer Marketing-Aktivitäten (z.B. an Messen) zu deren flankierenden Unterstützung Detailverkäufe zu tätigen. Unter Wahrung dieser Schranken kann der Verein alle Geschäfte eingehen sowie alle Verträge abschliessen, welche geeignet sind, den Zweck des Vereins zu fördern oder sonstwie direkt oder indirekt damit im Zusammenhang stehen; er hat dabei den unterschiedlichen Bedürfnissen der einzelnen Regionen Rechnung zu tragen.
